Dual asset management and development potential

In 2016, Ardale acquired Westlink Industrial Estate in partnership with C2 Capital (now Stenprop). The estate sat on a site of 9.5 acres and comprised 31 industrial units extending to 17,808 sq.m. The site held medium-term development potential for large scale residential development as located in an older industrial area under review for a potential change in status in the Dublin Council Development Plan in 2022.
The project was underpinned by a straight forward asset management strategy to reduce vacancy and to carry out improvements to the functionality and cosmetics of the estate. After significant success in implementing this strategy, the property was sold in 2018 in an off-market transaction to M7 Real Estate.
